Carter Caves State Resort Park - Hotel with Restaurant near Tri-State
Carter Caves State Resort Park provides accommodation with a balcony or patio, free WiFi, and flat-screen TVs. Guests can use a shared lounge. Dining is available at Tierney's Cavern restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering sandwiches and country dishes. Recreational activities include guided trips of Smoky Lake by canoe, kayak or paddleboard, recreational tree climbing, and orienteering. The park features over 20 twisting caverns with a 30-foot underground waterfall. Wild cave tours are offered for kids and adults in Bat Cave and Saltpeter Cave from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park also has cottages and a campground open year-round with primitive, RV, and equestrian campsites. The Welcome Center Gift Shop has regular business hours from April through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. There are two camping sites available, one for tent camping and the other with a half-faced shelter. Carter Caves State Resort Park is 70 km from Tri-State.
